Automation

Build a useful first workflow

Start with a small data movement or notification, test every step, and keep the result easy to inspect.

01 /

Pick one repeatable event

A new lead is a useful starting point. Decide what should happen next, such as adding a row to a connected Google Sheet or notifying a Telegram group. Avoid combining several unrelated processes in the first workflow.

02 /

Connect the trigger and action

Add the appropriate trigger and action nodes. Map the trigger's name, contact, source, or campaign fields into the action. Add a condition only where the process genuinely needs a different branch.

03 /

Inspect a test execution

Run a supported test step and review the selected execution's input and output. Confirm that the mapped values are correct and that the receiving account or spreadsheet is the intended destination.

04 /

Activate and document

Enable the workflow and attach it to a flow if it uses a conversation trigger. Record the purpose and owner. Use a timed sequence, rather than assuming workflows provide delayed message blocks, when follow-up timing is the goal.

TAKE THIS INTO YOUR WORKSPACE

A small workflow with visible inputs and outputs is easier to maintain than an opaque all-purpose automation.
